Easy Updo

Every wedding should have an amazing bride with an amazing hairstyle. Here is an easy-to-achieve wedding hairstyle if you have long hair. The steps are easy, and this look should turn out to be amazing if the steps are properly carried out. Feel free to experiment a little if you know a technique that might work better.

How To Achieve This Easy Updo

  1. Wash your hair with a volumizing shampoo and blow dry it about half way.

  2. For this updo, it is a lot easier to skip the heat and go all natural by curling hair in rollers or using the “paper-bag” method. (Click this link, to see the video on how to curl your hair with paper to make it look exactly like this. Or see the video at the bottom)

  3. After your hair has dried in the paper curls (do not leave it in more than half an hour to 45 minutes, the because the paper bag curls hold VERY well, and get curly VERY fast). Take the strips of paper out and run your fingers lightly through your hair.

  4. If your curls are very springy and too tight, smooth some anti-frizz cream into your hands and run your fingers through your hair some more. Do not use a wax because wax is designed to give your hair even more “spring” and bounce.

  5. Separate the top section of your hair, but leave a few strands down to frame the face in the front.

  6. Have multiple, strong hold, bobby pins around and take 1-inch strands of hair individually and start pinning them in random places in the back of your head. Do this until the bobby pins are not showing and you have a full “bun” of curls in the back of the updo

  7. Spray some shine serum onto your hair.

  8. Take your individual hair clips that look like flowers (make the clips match your dress, or use real flowers too) and clip them right onto the center of your head to create an almost garland effect. Pin the rest of the flowers in various places on your hair where you think they would look nice.

  9. Done! What a beautiful updo!
